On May 20, 2019, the United States Environmental Protection Agency announced the cancellation of registrations for 12 products that contain neonicotinoid insecticides. The cancellation of the product registrations was voluntarily requested by the companies that had registered the products. The cancelled products are listed in Table 1.

As of May 20, 2019, the products are cancelled. However, the companies who manufactured these products are allowed to sell and distribute existing stocks until May 20, 2020. After that date, the companies will be prohibited from selling or distributing the products listed in Table 1. Individuals or companies other than the registrant companies are allowed to sell, distribute or use stocks of the listed products until all stocks are exhausted (i.e., according to previously established terms on the product labels).
