Question Persuade Refer Training

SDSU Extension provides QPR (Question Persuade Refer) trainings to agricultural groups and rural communities interested in preventing suicide. The goal of this training is to save lives and reduce suicidal behaviors.

BROOKINGS, S.D. – South Dakota State University Extension will participate in a two-part series hosted by the SDSU Department of Natural Resource Management on protecting grasslands from cedar trees and other woody plants that are encroaching on this important ecosystem.

Fumigation Endorsement Private Applicator Training

SDSU Extension will host a free private applicator training on March 12, 2026, from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. CDT (1:00 - 2:00 p.m. MT).

South Dakota 4-H Trip Application to the National 4-H Conference

Members of the South Dakota 4-H Program, have the opportunity to apply for National 4-H Conference in Washington D.C. Youth must be 16-18 years old by the date of the event to apply. Applications need to be submitted to the applicant’s 4-H Youth Program Advisor.
