Accommodation of Participants with Disabilities
South Dakota 4-H will consider the needs of participants with special needs and/or disabilities in its program. All 4-H programs will comply with current standards under the Americans with Disabilities Act (1990) and subsequent provisions.

4-H Camps
SDSU Extension 4-H hosts multiple different sessions of camp each summer, usually in early to mid-June.

The South Dakota 4-H Volunteer Hall of Fame recognizes and celebrates adult volunteers who have dedicated themselves to making significant contributions to the development of the SDSU Extension 4-H Youth Development program.

Civic Education
South Dakota 4-H takes a comprehensive approach to civic education in our communities that includes three key programs and resources: 4-H Capitol Day, 4-H Legislature, and the 4-H Civocacy Guide.

Guardians, Visitors, or Adult Participants Code of Conduct
In most 4-H settings, non-participants are welcome to serve as respectful audience members to cheer on and encourage 4-H youth.

South Dakota 4-H 2023 Scholarship Application Available
February 10, 2023
Youth who have at least five years of active membership in South Dakota 4-H, are current high school seniors, or are enrolled at SDSU are eligible to apply for most South Dakota 4-H Scholarships. Applications must be postmarked by April 3 to be considered.
