Jaelyn Whaley, SDSU Extension Sheep Field Specialist, will guide the attendees through the nutritional requirements and management of both sheep and goats. - November 24 – Winter Grazing: Managing Roots and Rumens
Kaylee Wheeler, SDSU Extension Range Field Specialist, will highlight how winter grazing can be implemented while managing both the plant and the animal. - December 1 – Preparations and Considerations for Calving Season
Calving season puts a lot of demand on both the humans and the cows alike. Taylor Grussing, SDSU Extension Cow Calf Field Specialist, will cover how to prepare yourself and your animals to help reduce the stress of calving season.
