SDSU Extension staff have created a suite of templates that can be used by currently active and registered SDSU Extension Master Gardener volunteers as they engage in service to their community.
Ready to Print
Program Brochure: The general program brochure can be used at booths and educational presentations to inform others about the purpose of the program. In addition to downloading and printing, Master Gardener Clubs may request a small stock of this brochure once annually by contacting Aimee Ladonski. When printing make sure to NOT select “fit to page” or the front and back of the brochure will not line up correctly.
Postcards: The postcards can be used at booths and educational events to help direct the general public to the location of the Master Gardener web page, and more specifically to publications specific to their interest areas. This reduces the cost of printing full-color, multi-page publications. In addition to downloading and printing, Master Gardener Clubs may request a small stock of these postcards once annually by contacting Aimee Ladonski. When printing make sure to NOT select “fit to page” or the front and back of the postcard will not line up correctly.
Sign-up Sheet: The sign-up sheet can used to collect information on those interested in signing up for the Master Gardener Training course, which typically occurs each summer. Multiple pages can be printed. Follow instructions on the form for submitting completed forms to staff.
Attendance Sheet & Session Evaluation Form: SDSU Extension Master Gardeners may use the attendance sheet and session evaluation forms to collect important data about the number of individuals served and to gain valuable feedback on the presentation being given.
PowerPoint: As of 2018, SDSU Extension Master Gardener volunteers are required to use the PowerPoint template provided by SDSU Extension while giving presentations in their role as a Master Gardener.
Newsletter, Brochure and Flyer: The newsletter, brochure, and flyer templates are available for use, but are not required. However, using these templates will ensure that you are meeting the marketing and branding requirements of SDSU Extension. Please note that some of the content is editable and serves as a place holder while other content is not editable, such as the SDSU Extension logo.
Create Your Own
If an SDSU Extension Master Gardener decides to design their own newsletter, flyer, brochure or other document, and it is in service to their work as an SDSU Extension Master Gardener, they must be sure to incorporate the disclosure statement language and the SDSU Extension logo according to the standards outlined in the SDSU Extension Graphic Identity Standards. SDSU Extension Master Gardeners can obtain a copy of the SDSU Extension logo via request to Aimee House Ladonski.
Questions related to the use of these templates can be directed to Aimee House Ladonski.
