This SDSU Extension calculator is designed to formulate financial ratios and data, utilizing information provided by the producer. A long-term trend analysis of the operation can aid producers with decision making and ensure they are moving in a profitable and sustainable financial direction.
To use this calculator, producers will need copies of their balance sheets, income statements (profit/loss statements), Schedule F and the number of acres farmed/ranched each year.
The calculator contains the formulas necessary to figure the Sweet 16 Financial Ratios and also create graphs for Ending Current Ratio, Operating Expense Ratio, Rate of Return on Farm Assets ratio, and Capital Debt Repayment Capacity Ratio.
