Join South Dakota State University (SDSU) Extension and industry professionals for a two-day estate planning and farm succession conference in Rapid City, South Dakota at the Ramkota (2111 B North LaCrosse St.) on Oct. 21–22.
The conference will include presentations on methods to transfer land and assets to the next generation, pass on personal property and discussions on the current and potential tax situation related to a farm or ranch estate.
In addition to the information and an introduction to professionals that specialize in South Dakota estate planning and transition, participants qualify for additional one-on-one consultation with SDSU Extension field specialists related to their estate and transition plans, personal financial situation and aging on the farm or ranch.
- Oct. 21: 9 a.m.–7 p.m. MT
- Oct. 22: 9 a.m.–4 p.m. MT
Registration includes meals, materials and lodging at the Ramkota. Registration is accepted until noon on Oct. 21. However, to receive the complementary hotel room, registration MUST be received by Oct. 11.
