SDSU Extension Community Health and Obesity Program Director

Lindsay Moore serves as the SDSU Extension Community Health and Obesity Program Director, leading initiatives aimed at improving nutrition and physical activity across rural South Dakota. Under funding provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention High Obesity Program (HOP), she partners with state and local organizations and people to create sustainable wellness strategies, including food access programs and built environment changes to promote physical activity. Lindsay is known for her collaborative approach, bringing together coalitions of stakeholders to address health disparities and promote long-term, systemic change. Her leadership continues to shape public health efforts that prioritize community engagement and lasting impact.
