Character Links 5 curriculum

4-H Character All Stars will implement the Character Links 5 curriculum for the 2018-19 school year. Within the curriculum five character traits are highlighted: Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, Kindness and Citizenship.

South Dakota 4-H 2023 Scholarship Application Available

February 10, 2023

Youth who have at least five years of active membership in South Dakota 4-H, are current high school seniors, or are enrolled at SDSU are eligible to apply for most South Dakota 4-H Scholarships. Applications must be postmarked by April 3 to be considered.

SDSU Extension 4-H awards 2024 scholarships

Fourteen youth from across the state were selected to receive these awards. Youth with at least five years of active membership in 4-H, current high school seniors, or those enrolled at SDSU are eligible to apply for the scholarships. These scholarships are funded through donors and SDSU Extension’s 4-H program.

4-H Poultry & Eggs Project

The poultry project area is for all youth interested in chickens, pigeons, waterfowl, game birds, and turkeys. In the poultry project youth have the opportunity to show their birds, and their chicken’s eggs, at Achievement Days and the South Dakota State Fair.
