This FAQ document provides responses to commonly asked questions about serving beef and bison in South Dakota Child Nutrition Program (CNP) meals and snacks. The responses apply regardless of whether the beef or bison is donated to or purchased by the school or CNP operator, and whether the meat is locally raised, locally processed or not.
