Range Beef Cow Symposium

Wednesday, December 13 - Thursday, December 14

Colorado State University’s Department of Animal Sciences, in partnership with SDSU Extension as well as the Cooperative Extension Service and Animal Science Departments of the University of Nebraska and the University of Wyoming will host the 28th Range Beef Cow Symposium on Dec. 13-14 at The Ranch (5280 Arena Cir, Loveland, CO 80538). There also will be a pre-symposium Beef Quality Assurance training on Dec. 12.

The biennial symposium offers an exclusive program of practical production management information specific to the region’s cattle producers. This year’s program will include nationally and internationally known industry speakers delivering cutting-edge information on beef cattle management topics ranging from sustainability to marketing.

Sessions will incorporate up-to-date information and data from speakers, including several producer panels on hot-button issues and opportunities in the beef cattle industry. And the evening “Bull Pen Sessions” will also return. The symposium also boasts a top-notch trade show, showcasing a variety of commercial displays from over 50 allied industry vendors.
