Andrea Bjornestad serves as a Professor and SDSU Extension Mental Health Specialist based in Brookings. She is a licensed professional counselor, educator, and researcher on rural mental health. Her strong network of statewide and national stakeholders has enabled her to collaborate on educational and research projects to increase awareness of mental health challenges in agriculture and improving the health and wellness of farmers and ranchers. Described as a dynamic and engaging speaker, she presents to audiences locally, regionally, and nationally.
