Question Persuade Refer Training
SDSU Extension provides QPR (Question Persuade Refer) trainings to agricultural groups and rural communities interested in preventing suicide. The goal of this training is to save lives and reduce suicidal behaviors.
Mental Health
SDSU Extension experts work collaboratively with SDSU faculty and experts from across the region, to implement mental health programming to support agricultural producers as well as other rural South Dakotans.

Private Applicator Training for Crops
SDSU Extension will host a free private applicator training for crops on January 21, 2026, from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. CT (12:30 - 3:30 p.m. MT). Participants have the option to attend online or at various locations across the state.
