Patrick Kralicek has been a member of South Dakota 4-H for six years and has experienced several new and exciting opportunities due to his involvement in the program.

The Yankton County 4-H member is the son of Frank and Melissa Kralicek and has one brother named Jake. Patrick is 13 years old and attends Sacred Heart School, where he is on the honor roll.

Kralicek is very involved in many aspects of 4-H, including: horticulture, showing livestock, participating in shooting sports, and competing in both livestock judging and consumer decision making judging.

He is also involved with his county Junior Leaders. Patrick is always working hard to learn new things and challenges himself by attending many camps and competitions.

Kralicek’s biggest accomplishment in 4-H was placing sixth at State Livestock Judging in the junior division. He has also won numerous awards and ribbons for all of his hard work in 4-H.

Through 4-H, he has learned many new skills, but the most important skill he has learned is self-discipline. Kralicek continues to stay very involved in 4-H and will continue to use the skills he has learned in the future.
