The Jones County Crop Improvement Association, along with SDSU Extension, will be hosting the 31st Annual Winter Wheat Meeting at Draper, S.D., on August 27. This meeting provides South Dakota wheat producers with the most recent South Dakota State University wheat variety trial results, as well as other information on winter wheat production in South Dakota.
4-H members have the opportunity to showcase their horse project work at the annual South Dakota State 4-H Horse Show.
4-H youth are given the opportunity to develop critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills through the livestock judging project.
Youth who have at least five years of active membership in South Dakota 4-H (current high school senior or accepted to college, technical institute, etc.) are eligible to apply for South Dakota 4-H Scholarships.
