Russ Daly, DVM, is a Professor and SDSU Extension Veterinarian in the Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences Department at South Dakota State University. He has more than 15 years of experience in rural mixed animal veterinary practice. He received his bachelor’s in animal science and master’s in biological sciences from SDSU and his DVM from Iowa State University. He is certified through the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine with a specialization in Epidemiology, specifically relating to food animals.
