The SDSU Native Plant Initiative is hosting a Native Plant Photo Contest from October 9 through November 8. The photo contest aims to connect photographers with native plants, connect those interested in native plants with each other, and connect the public with native plant photos and information. 

Submissions will be accepted through Sunday, November 8, and winners will be announced shortly thereafter. Submissions can be completed by filling out the form found using the blue register button above. Participants must be ages 18 years of age or older.

Native Seed Cleaning Workshop

SDSU Extension will host a Native Seed Cleaning Workshop on Saturday, October 17, from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at McCrory Gardens (631 22nd Ave, Brookings, SD 57007).
