You’ve set your retirement date and have a clear picture of your income. But retirement is about more than finances—it’s a major life transition. What will your days look like once full-time work is behind you? This session explores the lifestyle and social adjustments that come with retirement, helping you prepare for changes in mindset, daily routines, and relationships. Learn how to create a fulfilling and balanced retirement that supports both your financial security and your personal well-being.
Living Light: Cut Waste, Boost Your Finances – January 27, 12 – 1 pm (CST)
Zero waste is more than an environmental movement—it’s a mindset that encourages us to rethink how we use resources. By focusing on waste prevention, repurposing, and reuse, the goal is to minimize what ends up in the landfill. In this session, we’ll explore how applying zero-waste principles can also strengthen your financial health. Learn simple, practical actions to cut unnecessary spending, reduce the amount of “stuff” you buy and discard, and create habits that support both your wallet and the planet.
Emergency Readiness: Protecting Your Finances – February 10, 12 – 1 pm (CST)
Life is full of surprises, and not all of them are pleasant. The financial impact of an unexpected event depends largely on how prepared we are to handle it. This session will outline practical strategies individuals and families can use to build resilience against financial shocks. Learn how to safeguard your finances, reduce vulnerability to sudden losses, and create a plan that helps you weather life’s uncertainties with confidence.
Balancing Commitments Through Value-Based Time Management – February 17, 12 – 1 pm (CST)
Do you ever feel like there’s never enough time in the day? Time management isn’t just about calendars and to-do lists—it’s about balancing the demands of work, family, social life, hobbies, and personal interests. This session will help you reflect on your values to identify priorities and develop strategies for creating a more balanced approach to your time commitments.
From Spending to Saving: Simple Shifts That Work – March 3rd, 12 – 1 pm (CST)
Saving money can feel challenging, especially when it requires adjusting spending habits to free up funds. This session will introduce three practical strategies you can use to save for emergencies, vacations, or other short-term goals. Learn how small, intentional changes can make a big difference in reaching your financial priorities.
Money Habitudes: Discovering What Drives Your Financial Decisions – March 10th, 12 – 1 pm (CDT)
A habitude is a blend of habits and attitudes that shape the way we think, feel, and act. These ingrained patterns influence the financial choices we make every day.
