SDSU Extension will host a beef artificial insemination day camp on March 7, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. This event is part of the Clover Connect series and is open to all youth.

Youth will learn about the value of bovine artificial insemination, the A.I. process, equipment, safe handling practices, and BQA vaccination protocols, while gaining hands-on experience from industry professionals.
The class is limited to Junior and Senior 4-H members, or middle school and high school students, and is limited to the first 20 registrants to provide adequate hands-on time. Youth attending will receive their Youth Livestock Literacy Certification
Registration
This day camp is open to youth ages 11 to 18. The cost to attend is $35. Registration can be completed by mailing the registration form found in the attachments below to Bennet County 4-H Office with payment by Monday, February 23, 2026.
