SDSU Extension 4-H will host the 4-H State Outdoor Archery Tournament at the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center from May 30-31.

This tournament is open to everyone (4-H members, coaches, friends, family) and it will be used as two qualifying scores for 4-H Senior archers wanting to be considered for the 2027 4-H National Championships in Grand Island, Nebraska.
The tournament will have four divisions per archery style (recurve and compound): Beginner, Junior, Senior and Adult. Event rules for the senior age class can be found on the 4-H National Event website under the event synopsis. South Dakota 4-H Age Divisions and Archery disciplines and rules will apply. This event is open to compound and recurve competitors.
Schedule
- Saturday, 8:00 a.m. - Explanation of the FITA course and practice.
- Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - One half FITA Round 4-H National Event Format.
- Saturday 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. - Explanation of the Field course, walk through, and
rules - Sunday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - 14 target NFAA Field Round; 1 hour after last score
