South Dakota 4-H Gala
The South Dakota 4-H Gala will be held on November 22, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. CST at SDSU Alumni Center (815 Medary Ave., Brookings, SD 57006).

4-H Volunteer Hall of Fame
The South Dakota 4-H Volunteer Hall of Fame recognizes and celebrates adult volunteers who have dedicated themselves to making significant contributions to the development of the SDSU Extension 4-H Youth Development program.

4-H Shooting Sports Hall of Fame Honorees
The 4-H Shooting Sports Hall of Fame was started in 2015. It was created to recognize those who played a role in bringing shooting sports to the South Dakota 4-H Program and those who have helped it to grow on the state and regional levels.

Guidebook providing a brief overview of each language of appreciation, what to consider before practicing each language and some examples of how to use each language in common 4-H settings.

4-H Volunteer Recognition Awards
Nominate a volunteer to be recognized at the state-level for their impact in 4-H. In addition to the Volunteer and Shooting Sports Hall of Fames, volunteers can be nominated for the Outstanding Youth Service, Outstanding Volunteer, Emerging Volunteer and Outstanding Shooting Sports Volunteer awards.

4-H Volunteer Application
New volunteers interested in being a club leader, cloverbud leader, project leader, committee member or other local and state roles should complete this application.
