SDSU Extension to Host Beef Quality Assurance Certification Course Dec. 28

SDSU Extension is offering two Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) certification trainings on Dec. 28 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. CST at the SDSU Extension Watertown Regional Center located at 1910 West Kemp Ave. in Watertown, South Dakota.

Drought Emergency Order Provides Flexibility for Forage Transportation

The recent extension of the State of South Dakota’s Drought Emergency Executive Order will provide livestock producers with flexibility to transport harvested forage. The order allows qualifying producers and commercial haulers to continue transporting oversized loads of baled livestock feed under emergency permitting provisions.
