BROOKINGS, S.D. – South Dakota State University Extension will host a series of Financial Fireside Chats webinars to help individuals strengthen their financial and personal well-being.
Retirement, resilience and resourcefulness are at the heart of the series, designed to help individuals and families navigate financial decisions with confidence while also addressing the lifestyle and personal dimensions of well-being. Each session blends financial literacy with everyday life skills, empowering participants to make informed choices that support both their wallets and their overall quality of life.
“The series offers practical strategies and fresh perspectives on topics ranging from retirement transitions to zero waste living, emergency preparedness and value-based time management,” said Lorna Saboe-Wounded Head, SDSU Extension Family Resource Management Field Specialist.
Sessions are from noon to 1 p.m. CST on Tuesdays starting Jan. 20, 2026. They are free to attend, but registration is required to receive the Zoom link.
