Financial Counseling

Financial counseling is a service provided by Accredited Financial Counselors (AFC®) to help individuals and families manage their financial situations more effectively. The goal of financial counseling is to assist people in making informed decisions about their money, budgeting, debt management, and overall financial well-being. 

Lorna Saboe-Wounded Head, SDSU Extension Family Resource Management Field Specialist, has been an AFC® since 2016. As a trained specialist, she will guide individuals on a wide range of financial topics in one-on-one sessions.

Cost and Scheduling

Financial counseling is a free service provided by SDSU Extension. Sessions are typically conducted over the phone or virtually. Complete the form to schedule a session.
