SDSU Extension will host a Beyond Ready training for 4-H families and volunteers on Apirl 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. online and at various locations around the state.

Beyond Ready is an initiative by National 4-H and South Dakota 4-H to ready the next generation in a rapidly changing world. Through the Beyond Ready Campaign, 4-H equips young people with the confidence, skills and character needed to chart their own paths to success in both life and work.
Through the Beyond Ready Initiative, South Dakota 4-H is expanding access, strengthening impact, and preparing youth for future success through measurable growth and strategic partnerships.
This training and event will be an opportunity for 4-H volunteers to learn about the Beyond Ready initiative and work with 4-H professionals to carry out the state’s strategic goals. Lunch will be included with registration and the State 4-H Leaders of SD will meet following the Beyond Ready Training.
The agenda will include:
- Introduction to Beyond Ready
- Implementation of Beyond Ready at the local level
- Resource sharing for volunteers
- Youth panel
- Time for volunteers to meet and socialize
Registration
Please register by selecting your preferred participation option and completing the registration process using the form below. A minimum of 5 participants at each location will be required to carry-out the event at that given location. If there is not 5 participants for each location, those registered for that location will be notified that they will be refunded and offered the option to join the training over the Zoom platform.
