This grant program, supported by the USDA and National Pork Board provides technical assistance and financial incentives to take care of your land. Pork Producers can receive funding and guidance to adopt practices such as cover cropping, temporary fencing, tillage management, manure management, edge-of-field buffers, LED lighting and heating mats.
Experts from Eocene Environmental Group will discuss data collection practices, opportunities to receive grant funding, and best practices to improve the sustainability of your swine operation.
Registration
Lunch will be provided by the South Dakota Pork Producers Council. This event is free to attend, but registration is requested by March 30.
