SDSU Extension will host a 4-H Shooting Sports Youth Development Training on November 6 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the SDSU Extension Pennington County Office (601 E. Centre St., Rapid City, SD 57701).
This training is required for all initial level 1 certifications as well as strongly requested for those who are recertifying. This training covers the following topics:
- 4-H program fundamentals
- Mission and objectives
- 4-H Shooting Sports structure and guidance
- 4-H Shooting Sports program and workshop fundamentals
- Creating and implementing a high-quality program
- Risk management
