An environmental training session for operators of Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFO), is set for December 11, 2019 in Huron at the Crossroads Convention Center (100 Fourth St. S.W.).
SDSU Extension will host a livestock environmental training program for concentrated animal feeding operations on December 11 at 8:30 AM CST at the Crossroads Convention Center in Huron (100 Fourth St. S.W. in Huron, 57350).

Individuals who have made significant contributions to South Dakota 4-H will be inducted into the South Dakota 4-H Volunteer Hall of Fame on Sunday, Sept. 1, during the 2019 South Dakota State Fair in Huron. In addition, six individuals will be inducted into the 4-H Shooting Sports Volunteer Hall of Fame.

Learning about political processes in the vibrant, living classroom of the nation’s capital, 38 South Dakota 4-H youth participated in Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF), an intensive 4-H civic engagement program for high school youth. The program was held at the National 4-H Conference Center in Chevy Chase, Md., on June 15-23.
