Sam Jacomet serves as an SDSU Extension Healthy Family and Communities Program Manager based in Sioux Falls overseeing policy, systems and environment (PSE) initiatives. Through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's High Obesity Program (HOP), Sam provides leadership to collaborative, community-driven efforts to increase access to nutritious foods and opportunities for physical activity through sustainable, long-term strategies. He is passionate about building lasting and meaningful partnerships in rural and tribal communities to promote health, well-being, and quality of life.
