Hilary supports the citizens of South Dakota in her role as the 4-H Program Manager, Regional Youth Educator. She is based at the South Dakota State University campus in Brookings and is the operations connection for the 17 counties of the south region. Hilary also serves as the state-wide program lead for 4-H teen leadership programs.

Held in conjunction with Brookings and SDSU days at the Capitol, the event provides educational legislative experiences for 4-H members and the opportunity to meet 4-H supporters from across the state.

SDSU Extension has organized operations support into four regions: North, South, Central and West. Each region consists of about 16 counties and is supported by an assigned regional youth educator.
