SDSU Extension Pesticide Applicator Testing Locations

SDSU Extension is proud to offer pesticide applicator testing at most of our county offices and all of our regional centers. Whether you are interested in becoming certified as a private or commercial pesticide applicator in South Dakota, our testing locations are capable of meeting your needs.

Commercial Applicator

If you are interested in becoming certified as a commercial pesticide applicator in South Dakota, testing is a necessary first step. Private Applicator 

If you are interested in becoming certified as a private pesticide applicator in South Dakota, testing is one option available for you to do so. You can review the requirements to hold a private applicator license and other certification options in SDSU Extension’s Private Applicator Training for Pesticides resource. If you require one or more of three private applicator endorsements (M-44 devices, fumigants, and aerial applications) for your specific pest-control needs, you will need to pass exams first.
