BROOKINGS, S.D. – South Dakota State University Extension will host its third annual 4-H Capitol Day on Jan. 18, 2023, in Pierre, in conjunction with the Brookings/SDSU days at the Capitol.
Any 4-H supporter is encouraged to attend the event, from current 4-H members and their parents or grandparents to 4-H volunteers and alumni. All ages are welcome. The day will be filled with legislative educational experiences, including viewing committee hearings, touring the building, and participating in round table sessions with state legislators.
There will also be an ice cream social, giving 4-H supporters an opportunity to mingle with others from across the state. Participants are encouraged to wear their 4-H green to show support of the organization. Preregistration was required by Jan 6.
