Black Hills Stock Show® Youth Day

South Dakota 4-H, a program of SDSU Extension, will host a Youth Day at the Black Hills Stock Show® on February 6, 2027, at the The Monument (Civic Center) and the Walter Taylor 4-H Building in Rapid City.

All youth (4-H and non-4-H) are invited to enter Youth Day activities. Youth must be at least 8 years of age by January 1, 2027, and must not have turned 19 by January 1, 2027.

  • Livestock Judging (individual and team entries)
  • Livestock Skillathon
  • Hippology
  • Beef Cook-Off
  • Horse Quiz Bowl (team entries only)

Registration

Registration will open in December 2026 and is required by January 27, 2027.
