SDSU Extension will host Better Choices, Better Health® SD Virtual Lay Leader Training via Zoom on Mondays and Wednesdays from February 8 through March 24, 2027, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. CST / 1:00–3:00 p.m. MT. There will be no training session on Monday, February 15.
This training will prepare participants to become trained Lay Leaders who can facilitate evidence-based self-management workshops in communities across South Dakota. Participants are expected to attend all training sessions to complete Lay Leader certification requirements.
Registration
This training is free for SDSU Extension volunteers who plan to volunteer their time as a Better Choices, Better Health–SD Lay Leader. The training fee is $250 for sponsored volunteers participating through an organization or employer.
