SDSU Extension will co-host Agricultural Women's Day on June 10, from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. CDT at Agar-Blunt-Onida School District 58-3 (500 S 8th St, Onida, SD 57564). The doors will open at 8:00 a.m. with educational presentations beginning at 9:00 a.m.

This event is open to all and designed to support South Dakota women living and working in agriculture throughout our rural communities by spending the day actively learning together. Empowering and connecting women in agriculture is the focus of 2026 Agricultural Women’s Day.

This year we are looking for participants to “evolve”. It is important that women evolve to thrive in the fast-paced, dynamic world of agriculture. Typically, women focus their energy not only on the business, but also their family and community. This is a time for women to come together to focus on themselves and rejuvenate their minds.

The day will include topics on health, family, finances, and production for our rural women. Along with spending time browsing the many vendors. Lunch is provided to all registered participants.

This event is possible because of the partnership between SDSU Extension, Agricultural Women’s Day Committee and South Dakota Community Foundation.

Registration

The cost to attend this event is $20. Registration is required by June 2 and can be completed using the blue register button above. Interested vendors can email the Agricultural Women’s Day Committee.
