Participation is completely anonymous, and the information collected will help us develop an accurate and valuable report for farmers, lenders, custom operators, and ag professionals. Participants will receive a coupon for one free scoop of SDSU ice cream upon completion of the survey.
Futures prices are from organized trades that provide price information for buyers and sellers of commodities. Local cash prices can be compared to futures prices using a basis measure. With an expected basis measure, producers can observe futures prices and infer cash prices.
