SDSU Extension will host a fall garden workshop on October 19 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McCrory Gardens (631 22nd Ave, Brookings, SD 57007). This hands-on workshop combines horticulture education with a creative fall craft.

Gourd Diseases — Discover common pumpkin and other gourd diseases, what causes them, and how to keep your pumpkins healthy. - 6:40 p.m. - Create
Get creative with a guided dried-flower pumpkin craft! Participants will decorate a pumpkin using dried flowers and natural materials, with guidance from Sydney, Robin, and the workshop team.

The cost to attend this workshop is $30. Registration includes:
- One pumpkin to decorate
- Dried flowers and craft materials
- Horticulture education
- A finished fall decoration to take home
