SDSU Extension and McCrory Gardens will host the seventh annual Insect Festival on Saturday, September 6, from 1:00-5:00 p.m.

This event helps spread the understanding and importance of insects in our environment. There will be a pollinator parade at 2:00 p.m., so come dressed as your favorite insect and jump into the line as you march around to show off your costume! Additional activities include:

  • Interactive Insect Education
  • Games and crafts
  • Edible Insects
  • Monarch Tagging
  • Cockroach races
  • Insect Photo Contest
  • Garden Tour

This event is free to attend and no registration is required.
