Rachel supports South Dakota 4-H in her role as the SDSU Extension 4-H Program Assistant based at the South Dakota State University Brookings campus. Rachel specializes in managing the day-to-day operations of the State 4-H office by assisting state 4-H office personnel, county advisors, and staff. Rachel also helps with the management of the 4-H scholarships.

South Dakota State University Extension is pleased to announce the 11 winners of its 2025 4-H state-level scholarships.

SDSU Extension 4-H awards 2024 scholarships

August 01, 2024

Fourteen youth from across the state were selected to receive these awards. Youth with at least five years of active membership in 4-H, current high school seniors, or those enrolled at SDSU are eligible to apply for the scholarships. These scholarships are funded through donors and SDSU Extension’s 4-H program.

4-H Volunteer Recognition Awards

Nominate a volunteer to be recognized at the state-level for their impact in 4-H. In addition to the Volunteer and Shooting Sports Hall of Fames, volunteers can be nominated for the Outstanding Youth Service, Outstanding Volunteer, Emerging Volunteer and Outstanding Shooting Sports Volunteer awards.
