SDSU Extension will host summer tours of winter and spring wheat, oat and field pea crop performance trials across central & western South Dakota in June and early July. SDSU plant breeders, field staff and SDSU Extension staff will be available at all locations to answer questions and look at samples.

4-H members have the opportunity to showcase their horse project work at the annual South Dakota State 4-H Horse Show.
South Dakota 4-H dog project members exhibit their accomplishments during the State Dog Show, held annually in Huron, SD.
4-H youth are given the opportunity to develop critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills through the livestock judging project.
4-H members showcase their knowledge and skills during county achievement days and State Fair competitions.
