South Dakota change agents will gather in Mitchell June 19-21, 2018 to celebrate the positive change they are making in communities across the state as a result of a projects inspired and developed during a year-long fellowship, through the South Dakota Change Network Cohort, a project funded by the Bush Foundation and advised by SDSU Extension Community Vitality Field Specialist, Kari O'Neill.

4-H members showcase their knowledge and skills during county achievement days and State Fair competitions.
Youth who have at least five years of active membership in South Dakota 4-H (current high school senior or accepted to college, technical institute, etc.) are eligible to apply for South Dakota 4-H Scholarships.
4-H youth are given the opportunity to develop critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills through the livestock judging project.
4-H members have the opportunity to showcase their horse project work at the annual South Dakota State 4-H Horse Show.

Learning about political processes in the vibrant, living classroom of the nation’s capital, 38 South Dakota 4-H youth participated in Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF), an intensive 4-H civic engagement program for high school youth. The program was held at the National 4-H Conference Center in Chevy Chase, Md., on June 15-23.
