SDSU Extension will host a Walk With Ease (WWE) program on Jan 14 - Feb 20 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at the YMCA (644 Crook St., Custer, SD 57730) from 2:45 - 3:45 PM MDT.
Walk With Ease (WWE) is a 6-week walking program, developed by the Arthritis Foundation, aimed at helping individuals start or maintain a safe walking program in their lives. Walk With Ease consists of 3 group sessions per week, and each session covers a brief education topic, warm-up, 5-35-minute walk and a cool down, all done at participants’ own pace. This program is open to all participants, as long as they can be on their feet for 10 minutes without increased pain.
