Are you interested in learning more about produce prescription programs as a fruit and vegetable grower? SDSU Extension will host a learning and listening session about produce prescriptions on March 22 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. CDT.
The logistics of produce prescription will be demystified and ways that local growers can get involved in community produce prescription projects will be discussed. Then, growers will have an opportunity to provide input on what is needed to support existing work to expand produce prescription programs using locally sourced fruits and vegetables in South Dakota.
This session will be hosted over Zoom and is free to attend. Registration is required using the button below to receive the Zoom information. For more information, contact Geb Bastian, Assistant Professor and SDSU Extension Nutrition and Health Specialist.
