Caregiver Learning Workshops: How Support Organizations Serve Family Caregivers

Thursday, February 24

North Dakota State University (NDSU) Extension and South Dakota State University (SDSU) Extension will be holding a virtual Caregiver Learning Workshop about Caregiver Support Organizations on Feb. 24, 2022, starting at at Noon CST/11:00 a.m. MT.

Across the Dakotas there are families impacted by Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and other life changing diagnoses. Organizations are available to help families affected by Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s Disease, and other life changing diagnoses.

This Caregiver Learning Workshop will feature representatives from the Alzheimer’s Association, Parkinson’s Foundation, and North Dakota and South Dakota Department of Human Services. Attendees will learn about the various services and support each organization provides. By the end of this Caregiver Learning Workshop, attendees will have greater knowledge about accessing services and supports for families living with chronic diseases and other life changing diagnoses in North Dakota and South Dakota.
