SDSU Extension will be hosting a canning workshop on June 25 at 5:30 PM CDT at the SDSU Extension Codington County Office (1910 W. Kemp Ave., Watertown, SD 57201).
- safe food preservation practices
- guiding participants through hands on canning techniques
- water bath canning jelly
- pressure canning green beans
This workshop is open to all, but any youth under the age of 13 needs to have an adult present to assist them during the workshop. Participants should bring a shoe box to the workshop to take jars home in.
