SDSU Extension will host a 4-H Shooting Sports Coaches Training for the archery, rifle and pistol disciplines on Saturday, October 28 beginning at 8:00 a.m. MT at the Meade County Fair Complex (12901 SD-34, Sturgis, SD 57785; Look for the large brown and tan pole barn on the west side of the Sturgis Brown High School).
The training course will cover the core requirements needed to become a certified 4-H Shooting Sports instructor, including youth development training (only needed once), discipline training (archery, rifle and pistol) and training recertification. All training participants will be required to bring their own eye and ear protection.
In the case of a weather-related cancellation, you will be notified via the cell phone number and email you provide during registration.
